Suzhou and Shanghai, China - January 30th

TKO IPA
I spent my last day in Suzhou packing, and wandered into work extremely late. After one last round of moving all of the random papers on my desk to somewhere less visible, I threw on my backpacks (I only have one back, so I guess one's a frontpack?) and headed down to a pub near campus to say goodbye to everyone. The turnout was great, and the drinks were getting lined up. I knew it was definitely time to go when I found myself sucking down some kind of murky, flaming liquid through a plastic straw. With all the ethanol and polystyrene swimming happily in my stomach, I threw on my backpacks again, had a bit of a sumo wrestle with Stuart, and wandered off with Piotr into the Suzhou night.

I was two and a half sheets before I even got to Shanghai, and one last trip to Boxing Cat put me at a full three. I have no complaints, however. I can't imagine a better beginning to my trip than a fresh glass of TKO IPA.
